We’re only three weeks away from the gala 2022 Phil Kaufman Award Ceremony and Banquet honoring Dr. Giovanni De Micheli co-hosted by award sponsors the ESD Alliance and the IEEE Council on Electronic Design Automation (CEDA). Dr. (Nanni) De Micheli is being recognized for his contributions to EDA, including his research on EDA tools and methodologies that helped drive significant advances in the academic field of design automation. He is professor and director of the Institute of Electrical Engineering (IEL) and of the Integrated Systems Centre at the École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL) in Lausanne, Switzerland. His research has also made a lasting impact on the industry through its incorporation into commercial EDA solutions.
