As a key member of the Advanced Technology Development Group, you will be instrumental in developing scripts to customise the foundry PDK. Working within a Cadence design environment you will develop and manage the development, by third parties, full custom PDKs. Additionally, you will be testing and otherwise ensuring the quality of the PDKs, coordinating any new requirements of design teams into PDK developments and training all analogue designers on PDKs.
With a high standard of education, you will have extensive industry experience in Analogue/ RF IC design, preferably developing PDK’s. Additionally you will have industry knowledge of front-end design verification tools and circuit simulators working to 130nm and below. With programming and scripting experience, utilising C and tcl, you will have knowledge of data structures, geometry, parsing and string manipulation as well as being familiar with layout design. With strong communication and presentation skills, you will be keen to make your mark within a highly talented R&D function.
