This year's conference will focus on new technologies and methodologies for Realizing EDA360. Attendees can share best practices on critical design and verification issues and explore new techniques for realizing advanced silicon, SoCs, and systems. New this year, following last year's acquisition of Denali by Cadence, the conference will host dedicated technical sessions for Denali customers and attendees of MemCon, an event Denali sponsored that focused on standards and new product information.
The three-day conference will feature keynote presentations by Cadence President and CEO Lip-Bu Tan. The guest speaker this year is Philippe Magarshack, Group Vice President, Technology R&D, at STMicroelectronics. During the event, attendees will be able to choose from a wide range of live product demonstrations of the latest features and capabilities, in depth user-presented technical papers, comprehensive road map presentations, dynamic panel discussions and social networking opportunities with peers.
"By establishing CDNLive! in EMEA, we created a unique opportunity for all our users and partners to get together on an annual base and to get inspired by their peers to innovate in electronic design," said Wolfgang Stronski, marketing director of Cadence EMEA. "The conference has also become a platform to launch our major solution news to our users and press. Last year, we announced the EDA360 vision; this year we will launch important solutions to enable our customers to achieve System Realization."
In addition to the keynotes and user-presented technical papers, a record number of companies will be exhibiting this year at the Designer Expo. Attendees can meet up with Cadence and their partners to receive the latest results of the collaborative ecosystem to support the EDA360 strategy.
