Zuken Innovation World Call For Papers Submission

Zuken Innovation World is Zuken Americas annual conference and the company is seeking papers on this year’s theme of INNOVATION. Sharing first-hand knowledge and experience is a cornerstone of this conference and what makes it so successful. Amy Clements, conference manager told me that they are interested in papers that describe a breakthrough or a solution to a particular design challenge. The Zuken Innovation World 2012 conference will be held October 15-17 in Newport Beach, CA, a location that is hard to resist.

Zuken Innovation World conferences are premier annual events for the Zuken community. Held in locations around the globe, the conferences bring together customers and industry professionals in an environment that encourages networking, learning, and sharing of innovative ideas.

Providing an open environment for networking and partnership development is a key element of Zuken Innovation World. Partnerships with co-workers, other customers, industry professionals, and Zuken staff provide lasting benefits. People working together to solve common problems achieve greater success.

Bringing people together to share knowledge and experience is a fundamental goal of Zuken Innovation World. Meeting new people and hearing their first-hand experiences is the best way to learn new information. Taking that information with you and applying it to your unique situation is what leads to your own innovations.

Supporting innovation through a varied mix of sessions is what Zuken Innovation World is all about. Innovation is the key to success. When you have the knowledge, the right partners, and the right solutions, you are better equipped to ultimately discover ways to innovate and improve.

Members of the Zuken community have a chance to meet one another and share first-hand knowledge and experience. These events offer opportunities to network, learn, and share innovative ideas through a variety of user presentations, technical sessions, and discussion groups. Each event is structured around the common theme of innovation and is organized with the specific needs of the local Zuken communities in mind.

Call for Papers

Present on your own, as part of a small group, or with a Zuken partner. The most important thing is that you get involved. Attendees want to hear practical real-world experiences from other users. The submission deadline is July 13. Marketing and sales-oriented presentations will be rejected

The technical program consists of three tracks focused on Zuken’s products including CR-8000/CR-5000, E3.series, CADSTAR, and DS-2. Sessions are 45 minutes in length.

“Practical case studies, How-to sessions, Lessons Learned, and Discussion Groups are all topics that will be considered for inclusion in the conference program” said Ms. Clements. Each session is 45 minutes in length. Final drafts of papers selected for the agenda are due on September 28, 2012.

Submissions should contain:

a. Session title (10 words or less)
b. Summary (50 words)
c. Abstract (300 words)
d. Author biography (50 words)

Abstracts should contain enough detail to clearly convey the material to be covered during the session, including information about what attendees should expect to gain by attending.

What Happens Next

If your abstract is approved for placement in the conference agenda, you will be notified on or before July 27, 2012. As a speaker you are offered complimentary attendance to the entire conference. At the time of registration, please use the speaker discount code supplied by the Conference Manager. Each speaker is responsible for booking and payment of his/her own accommodations. Book your hotel guest room before September 24th to ensure availability at the conference rate.

If you have any technical requirements, i.e., you need use of a laptop or laser pointer, please notify the Conference Manager before August 10th.

When presenting at the conference, each speaker will be assigned a Zuken Partner; this is a member of Zuken staff who will introduce you at the opening of your presentation, and generally be on hand to support you. This person will be assigned to you approximately two weeks prior to the conference. To submit a proposal go here.
