After many months of research with the Canadian Geo community, I would like to welcome you to WBR’s inaugural Geospatial Advancement Canada Summit, taking place 3-5 March, at the Ottawa Convention Centre, Ontario, Canada.

This educational seminar will bring together leaders and managers of geospatial intelligence, remote sensing, GIS data & mapping, satellite imagery and analysis within the military, governmental, and geo intelligence sectors. The aim will be to discuss the full range of geospatial concepts and ideas that addresses the unique requirements in Canada.

The agenda is now complete. You can download your own copy here to see what will be discussed and by whom. Over 40 leaders in Canadian geomatics and the Canadian Armed Forces will be giving you their first hand experiences and take-ways. We have specifically divided the agenda into three key themes:

DAY 1: Exploring the Latest Technology and Innovation to Overcome Interoperability Challenges

DAY 2: Developing a National Geo Strategy through Collaboration of Government and Private Industry

DAY 3: GIS Governance – Challenges & Opportunities; Policy Development, Senior-Level Buy In, Workforce

And lastly, but not least, we are proud to announce our partners: Intergraph, tecconnect, BlackBridge, Applanix and Overwatch.

Geospatial Advancement Canada is the ideal opportunity to review technological advances and to evaluate the multitude of ways in which GeoInt can be utilized by all facets of government operations.
