MOSAID has granted Scanimetrics a non-exclusive, royalty bearing license to develop, manufacture and market current and future versions of MOSAID HLNAND™ devices, alone or incorporated into Scanimetrics products. MOSAID offers a 64Gb MLC (Multi Level Cell) HLNAND MCP (Multi-Chip Package), and a 64GB HLDIMM (HyperLink Dual In-Line Memory Module).
"MOSAID's HLNAND™ Flash memory technology provides us with a solution to address our customers' growing needs for higher-speed write capability in Storage Class Memory applications," said Steven Slupsky, CEO of Scanimetrics. "We will utilize HLNAND Flash memory chips and modules in designs where there is a requirement for high-performance memory and low power, such as enterprise-class video conferencing, as well as digital still and motion cameras."
Storage Class Memory (SCM) strives to deliver the low-cost, non-volatile bit storage that is offered by hard disk drives, while greatly improving access times.
