Opera Wireless and NANORADIO Join Forces to Bring Enhanced Connectivity to BLUSENS Portable Media Players; Companies Will Jointly Integrate a WiFi Solution Optimized for Digital Multimedia Devices and Service Middleware Platform.

STOCKHOLM, Sweden, November 8 /PRNewswire/ -- Opera Wireless, S.L., a company specialized in wireless connectivity technologies and services, Nanoradio a fabless semiconductor company specialized in building components for WiFi applications and Blusens Spanish market leader in Consumer Electronics and specifically in Handheld Consumer Electronics today announced that they have entered into an agreement to offer WiFi solutions for portable multimedia players. Under the terms of the agreement, Opera Wireless and Nanoradio will jointly integrate and implement Nanoradio WiFi solutions - Chipset and WiFi SW drivers into Blusens G14 product which final version will be released in January 2007 during Las Vegas CES.

An additional important element of the decision was the compatibility of Nanoradio chipset with its previous Blusens G12, an MP3, DivX Player with bluetooth.

We are preparing the path to IMS (IP Multimedia Subsystem) and direct our business efforts towards providing telecommunication operator with additional revenue streams.

The addition of WiFi to Blusens Portable Multimedia Player will allow to provide seamless interoperability with the rapidly expanding universe of wireless enabled products and complement its already existing MP3 DivX player with Bluetooth. Wireless connectivity is strategic for Blusens that is initiating to offer services to its multimedia players customers in a hosted environment order to enhance end-user experience.

Availability

Blusens G14, MP3, DivX player with WiFi and Bluetooth will be available in available in the retail market in Q1 2007 in Spain and certain other markets.
