Broadcom Shareholders Approve Acquisition by Avago Technologies

IRVINE, Calif., Nov. 10, 2015 — (PRNewswire) —  Broadcom Corporation (NASDAQ: BRCM), a global innovation leader in semiconductors for wired and wireless communications, announced today that at a special meeting of Broadcom shareholders held today, its shareholders approved all proposals necessary for its previously announced acquisition by Avago Technologies Limited.

Completion of the transaction remains subject to obtaining antitrust and other regulatory approvals in certain jurisdictions and other customary closing conditions.
