Verdi Automated Debug, Siloti Visibility Automation, and Laker Custom Layout Automation Systems Deployed in High Performance ASIC Design Flow

(TAIEX: 2473), a global supplier of specialized IC design software, today announced that HiSilicon Technologies Co., Ltd., a worldwide provider of ASICs and solutions for communication network and digital media and a subsidiary of Huawei Technologies, has extended the terms of its comprehensive agreement for the Verdi™ Automated Debug System, Laker™ Custom Layout Automation System, and Siloti™ Visibility Automation System.
HiSilicon ASICs are widely used in over 100 countries and regions around the world, including its comprehensive portfolio of communication chipsets and digital media SoC solutions. The expanded agreement enables HiSilicon Technologies to broadly deploy SpringSoft’s Verdi software as its standard debug platform and the Laker software with its schematic-driven layout flow as the preferred custom layout solution. Adoption of the Siloti software is initially targeted at high-end data communications and mobile phone chip designs to eliminate simulation overhead and improve verification throughput.
