SAN JOSE, Calif. — (BUSINESS WIRE) — August 17, 2009 — CoWare®, Inc., the leading supplier of Electronic System Virtualization™ software and services, announced today that Siemens is using its Electronic System Virtualization technology to accelerate the development of Siemens’ Industrial Ethernet (PROFINET) Components. Using CoWare Platform Architect and CoWare Virtual Platform, Siemens developed a virtualized model of a PROFINET device. The analysis visibility and debugging control of the virtualized model delivers a more efficient and productive environment over traditional methods for architecture design and software development.
