Mr. Furui brings to Silvaco Japan vast experience gained from years of service at STARC and SONY Corporation. He started his career as an LSI designer in the Semiconductor Division of SONY Corporation. From the late 1990s he has contributed to standardization activities such as JEITA-EDA Technical Committee and IEC/TC93 (Design Automation). Before joining Silvaco Japan, Furui held the position of Vice President at SONY Semiconductor Kyushu where he was responsible for the Design and Library Development Groups. His last position at STARC consortium was as a Deputy General Manager responsible for the standardization of design methodology.
