WHY: Worldwide momentum and SystemC adoption is growing. These events demonstrate the strength of OSCI and its dedication to providing mechanisms that allow collaboration and information exchange among members of the SystemC community. Transaction-level modeling (TLM) continues to grow in importance for architectural exploration, performance analysis, building virtual platforms for software development, and functional verification. The release of the TLM-2.0 standard in June marks the culmination of several years of intensive work, and is a significant step toward making interoperable transaction-level modeling a reality. With the introduction of the Analog/Mixed-Signal Extensions for SystemC, OSCI addresses to the need to define a unified and standardized system-level design and modeling language for embedded mixed-signal applications and systems. |
