Zytalis Announces Magma Design Automation's Successful Go Live with SAP ERP

IRVINE, Calif.—(BUSINESS WIRE)—October 25, 2006— Zytalis Inc., a leading service provider of SAP solutions, announced today that it has successfully completed the first phase of Magma Design Automation's SAP ERP initiative in the United States and Europe.

The SAP ERP initiative is designed to standardize and streamline Magma's contract-to-cash, procure-to-pay, and revenue recognition processes to provide continuous access to accurate, reliable and timely information across its entire organization.

"Thanks to the strong partnership we formed with Zytalis, Magma was able to deliver the business benefits we committed to with the implementation of SAP in a relatively short period of time. Zytalis provided strong resources with an in-depth understanding of SAP as well as the software industry and a practical implementation approach they tailored to Magma's specific needs. We are extremely pleased with what we have been able to achieve as a team," said Chip Vanek, director of Information Technology for Magma.

"Every project has its unique design and implementation challenges and Magma was no different, but by leveraging SAP's best practices and our own iterative implementation approach, Magma has become a great example of how a rapidly growing, mid-market company can leverage the world's leading ERP package. Not only will Magma reap the immediate benefits of SAP but they will also now have a software platform that will allow them to scale and meet their long-term growth goals. We look forward to continuing our successful relationship with Magma in the future," said Zytalis' co-founder and EVP Richard Gu.
