MachineWorks Full Machine Simulation New API at EMO Hannover 2013

MachineWorks' latest development efforts are aimed at making  full machine simulation more accessible to OEM  manufacturers.

Multi-axis machines, mill-turn machines and complex machines are more widely used nowadays.  Having full machine simulation in CAM systems is a must but increasingly, machine tool manufacturers want to see on their CNC controllers the same level of graphics and clash detection for full machine simulation that they see off-line on a CAM system.

MachineWorks has pioneered full machine simulation on the CNC controller however setting up and operating full machine simulation is often a labour-intensive process.

This is why MachineWorks has developed a top layer that allows the user to simulate with the same degree of flexibility that was possible before but with a much easier way of handling the various elements of the machining envelope.  Developers can handle machines, tool libraries, work assemblies and jobs with little effort.

At EMO Hannover 2013, 16-21 September, the MachineWorks team will be showing the ease of use of the new full machine simulation higher lever API on stand J25, hall 25.

About MachineWorks Ltd
MachineWorks Software sets the standard for CNC simulation and verification component software in the industry. More than 60% of CAM developers in the world have integrated MachineWorks technology into their applications and benefited from MachineWorks’ cutting-edge functionality over the last 20 years. MachineWorks’ toolkit has been integrated by software and hardware OEMs looking for a solution in simulation of material removal and clash and gouge detection of any type of CNC machining. MachineWorks’ core technology combines speed, accuracy and stability. It is ideally suited for anti-crash systems, complex machining and full machine simulation.
