Mississippi’s EIGS Geospatial Cluster Adds New Member

November 05, 2012 -- Stennis Space Center, MS -- The Enterprise for Innovative Geospatial Solutions (EIGS) is pleased to announce the addition of its newest member to Mississippi’s geospatial technology industry cluster.

Lime PI Digital, a Google Certified AdWords Partner, adds to the cluster’s synergy through complementary capabilities, services, and products.  Lime Pi Digital’s main focus is on cloud based marketing, organic Search Engine Optimization (SEO), Cost Per Click Management (CPC), AdWords Account Management, search engine friendly Web Design, Data Driven Web Implementation & Management, Web Tracking & Analysis, Lead Capture & Acquisition.

“We are excited to have this outstanding new company as part of the EIGS family.  Their membership will serve to add to the strength of the cluster and its core capabilities and services,” said Craig Harvey, an MBA founder.  Lime PI Digital will be the first business to locate in the Magnolia Business Alliance’s incubator for small businesses, the Waveland Business Incubator.

For over a decade, the State of Mississippi has nurtured the growth of a cluster of high tech companies in the geospatial technology industry. The Enterprise for Innovative Geospatial Solutions (EIGS) is a program of the Magnolia Business Alliance, which is a non-profit, industry-independent organization formed by Cluster members with a passion to enhance the small business ecosystem in the region.  Funding for the organization was awarded through a $600,000 grant from the U.S. Small Business Administration meant to promote clusters of jobs in "innovative economies.”  Members have access to business support, counseling and classes that provide services using geographic information systems and allied technologies.

The EIGS geospatial industry cluster represents a variety of companies from small operations to companies with thousands of employees. There are start-ups and well-established companies -- the majority of the companies have been in business for an average of 15 years.  Some companies are headquartered in Mississippi while others are branch operations of larger national corporations. With business operations all over the country, the cluster also has a global reach with DigitalGlobe’s offices in London and Singapore and Themis Vision’s presence in Paris, France. EIGS Membership is open to companies in the geospatial technology and/or remote sensing industry.  EIGS provides its members with business support, counseling, and classes for businesses that provide services using GIS and allied technologies.  For more information about EIGS, its business members, or how to join, please visit http://mseigs.com/ http://mseigs.com/
