Join the team that leads the development of the OpenAccess database at Cadence!
OpenAccess is an open community EDA database donated by Cadence which is already proliferating through the industry, both at EDA and design companies. If you share our goal of enabling interoperability in EDA flows, we have a number of positions open:
- We need experts at creating clean object-oriented software in C++. OpenAccess uses the latest C++ techniques to present a rich EDA data model. We value software design skills and consistent coding standards. We work in small teams with extensive design and review efforts that help our team members to grow their skills. We have several levels of positions available up to architects who will design new approaches and techniques for data modeling and lead projects to take those thru implementation.
- We need product engineers with the right skills to support the OpenAccess API. Our product engineers work with application developers inside and outside of Cadence to support their usage of OpenAccess, and determine how to evolve the API to meet their needs. OA PE's will need a blend of software skills and EDA flow expertise to document and support existing usage and to understand how OpenAccess should be enhanced to enable flows of the future.
- We need software validation engineers to deliver innovative solutions for designing tests and automating the validation process for OpenAccess. Our validation engineers are expected to have experience in software quality assurance, including the development and implementation of test plans, standards, automation, and quality metrics. They should be experienced with C++ and object oriented programming techniques and have a strong commitment to quality and attention to detail.
This is an exciting growth area for EDA. Have an impact with software that is published thru the OpenAccess Coalition for the whole EDA industry to see and use. VLSI DESIGNING TECHNIQUES.
Implementation of SDRAM controller using VERILOGHDL. Jan 4th ’06 – Mar 4th ’06
Electronics Corporation of India Ltd., Hyderabad, A.P
The objective of the project was to provide synchronism between the speeds of the processor and the SDRAM. This SDRAM Controller is a interface between a processor and SDRAM. The advantage in using this SDRAM Controller is it is independent of the processor type and its functionality is similar to a Direct Memory Access. This design of SDRAM Controller is programmed using VerilogHDL.
