There are two main issues in power tools. One addresses power delivery performance, that's where we come in, the other is low power which is another ballgame all together. We don't play in the low power arena. Golden Gate, whom you wrote about last week, is a player there. They mentioned Sequence who is in power analysis.

The performance of power delivery system is making sure that you have clean power from the sources to the devices, making sure that you've minimized noise and that there is no noise corrupting the power delivery system.

Agilent Technologies Completes Acquisition of Eagleware-Elanix, a Leading Provider of High-Frequency EDA Software Financial details were not disclosed. Eagleware-Elanix employees have joined Agilent's EEsof division, which is a leader in the high-frequency ED) market, especially in high-end tools. Eagleware-Elanix is noted for products that are easy to use and for its technological leadership in tools for high-frequency design synthesis. The companies' product lines are complementary.

Synopsys Applauds Court Ruling in Patent Suit; Magma Says Reaction Premature (Electronic News Magazine) In its ruling, the court The U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California issued its claim construction ruling and adopted Synopsys' positions outright on three of the four claim construction questions at issue. The litigation is set to go to trial in April 2006.
