SAN DIEGO & IRVINE, Calif.—(BUSINESS WIRE)—September 16, 2008— DivX, Inc. (NASDAQ: DIVX), a digital media company, today announced that it has significantly expanded its influence within emerging Blu-ray players through the DivX Certification of Broadcoms BCM7440 chip. Broadcoms DivX Certified® BCM7440 chip enables Blu-ray manufacturers to include integrated support for high-quality DivX® video.
