Forte's Cynthesizer SystemC Behavioral Synthesis Selected for Fujitsu Microelectronics' ASIC Reference Flow

SAN JOSE, Calif., June 4 /PRNewswire/ -- Forte Design Systems has announced that its Cynthesizer behavioral synthesis product has been selected for use in Fujitsu Microelectronics Limited's ASIC reference flow. Cynthesizer was selected after extensive testing to ensure high quality of results.

Cynthesizer is currently being used by multiple design teams within Fujitsu Microelectronics around the world. In addition, Fujitsu Microelectronics' ASIC business has supported many leading edge Japanese systems vendors in their projects which have utilized Cynthesizer to produce IP.

"We evaluated a number of electronic system level (ESL) synthesis tools and selected Forte Cynthesizer to be a part of our design flow. Our customers, both internal and external to Fujitsu Microelectronics, now have a standard production ESL ASIC flow from SystemC."
