Fairchild Semiconductor Launches Global Power Resource(SM) Center to Address Automotive Challenges

SAN JOSE, Calif.—(BUSINESS WIRE)—August 6, 2007— Fairchild Semiconductor (FCS) has expanded its Global Power Resource(SM) Center with the addition of a facility in Ann Arbor, Michigan. This new center - near the heart of the North American automotive market - responds to the burgeoning need for functional power solutions, including multi-die modules, for automotive power applications. The center is staffed by seasoned electrical engineers with extensive design experience and a thorough understanding of the application requirements for today's automotive designs. The engineering staff has over sixty years of combined automotive product development experience.
