This "Aspen" reference design combines the superior technology of Xceive's highly integrated silicon tuner, the XC5000, with Trident's HD-TV Pro CX and FX digital SOCs that integrate video capture, digital and analog A/V processing and video scaling, color control and drives any WXGA or 1080P panel.

This reference design is key for TV companies and ODMs wishing to have a complete copy-ready design for medium to large screen televisions such as LCDs, PDPs and RPTVs from 26 inches and larger. This unique partner-produced reference platform brings together Xceive's XC5000 silicon TV tuner, that exceeds worldwide analog and digital TV requirements, and Trident's world-class imaging processing capabilities for terrestrial and cable reception, in an optimized solution for the television market.
