FuturePlus Systems and DFT Microsystems collaborate on next generation High Speed Serial IO Jitter Tools

MONTREAL, Feb. 27 /PRNewswire/ - DFT Microsystems today announces a design win at FuturePlus Systems for its leading edge highly integrated DJ60 SerDes Test Module(TM). FuturePlus Systems is incorporating the DJ60 into their FS5000 - Jitterlyzer PCI Express Multi-Layer Serial Analysis Probes. FuturePlus introduced and demonstrated the FS5000 product at the recent DesignCon event in Santa Clara.

    Features and benefits of the FuturePlus FS5000-Jitterlyzer(TM) include:

    - PHY evaluation: Jitter and timing measurements of high-speed
      transmitters while they are transmitting real bus traffic as well as
      jitter insertion into high-speed receivers while they receive real bus
      traffic
    - All lanes in bus tested simultaneously.
    - Analog signals in the PHY do not get routed outside the board
    - Quick correlations between protocol failures and PHY signal integrity
      made quickly and cost-effectively
    - Low cost, scalable jitter, noise and bit-error-rate solution
