Xilinx Features PCI Express Technology Solutions on National Semiconductor's Analog by Design Show

(NASDAQ: XLNX), today announced its participation in the National Semiconductor Analog by Design Show, online reality TV for analog design engineers. This new episode of the Analog by Design show will focus on how to transmit high-speed digital data over inexpensive and longer-than-standard cables and still maintain signal integrity. SI gurus, Dr. Howard Johnson and Bob Pease will lead the discussion and live demonstration along with Jim Beneke from Avnet and Navneet Rao from Xilinx. These companies collaborated to demonstrate the PCI(R) Express technology over 15m cable using Xilinx Spartan(TM)-3 FPGA development kit for PCIe and National signal conditioning devices to enable emerging applications such as video surveillance, detached media storage, and data warehousing.
