Company's Founding CEO, Abhijit Phanse, Continues as President and Assumes New Role as Chief Operating Officer
"I am proud that in the last four years, we have successfully delivered a fully programmable and adaptive platform technology providing a more efficient way to process and condition signals at very high speeds, and have driven the market to standardize and adopt this technology," said Abhijit Phanse, president and COO. "With the 10GBASE-LRM standard close to ratification, our initial products being designed into many top tier 10G modules and systems, and a broad range of multi-gigabit communication demands on the horizon, Scintera is well positioned for significant growth. We are pleased to have someone of Art's stature join the team, and I am looking forward to working with him and the rest of the team to take Scintera to the next phase of success."
"I am excited to be joining a young technology company that has very quickly and efficiently developed important new technology and become a leader in the 10 Gigabit communications market," said Art Reidel, chief executive officer of Scintera. "We are already shipping to top tier customers developing products based on this technology for their next generation Ethernet networks and other emerging markets. The continual need for higher speed, power efficient communications is moving the wireline and wireless markets into Scintera's sweet spot and I am looking forward to working with the Scintera team as we prepare to meet these demands."
