Intel Names New Vice Presidents

SANTA CLARA, Calif.—(BUSINESS WIRE)—Dec. 14, 2004— Intel Corporation today announced the appointment of 18 individuals as vice president. The new vice presidents are L. Wilton Agatstein, Jr., Diane M. Bryant, James G. Campbell, Laura G. Crone, Maxine Fassberg, Ron Friedman, Jeffery L. Hoogenboom, Jonathan Khazam, Michael C. Mayberry, Suzan A. Miller, Nimish H. Modi, Thomas A. Rampone, D. Jeffrey Richardson, Arthur W. Roehm, Rama K. Shukla, Joshua M. Walden, Abel Weinrib and Kazumasa Yoshida.

L. Wilton Agatstein, Jr., 46, is vice president, Desktop Platforms Group, and general manager of the Reseller Products Group. He is responsible for delivering branded Intel components to resellers, dealers and small systems integrators worldwide. Agatstein joined Intel in 1980.

Diane M. Bryant, 42, is vice president, Enterprise Platforms Group, and general manager of the Volume Server Product Line. She is responsible for the definition, development and market success of single- and dual-processor server and workstation platform solutions. Bryant joined Intel in 1985.

James G. Campbell, 49, is vice president, Finance and Enterprise Services, and corporate controller. He is responsible for global accounting, financial services and financial reporting. Campbell joined Intel in 1981.

Laura G. Crone, 43, is vice president, Intel Communications Group, and director of Flash Products Group Operations. She is responsible for forecasting, managing factory loadings, pricing and continuously improving the supply chain for the Flash Products Group. Crone joined Intel in 1984.

Maxine Fassberg, 52, is vice president, Technology and Manufacturing Group, and plant manager of Fab 18. She is responsible for all operations at Intel's wafer fabrication facility in Qiryat Gat, Israel. Fassberg joined Intel in 1983.

Ron Friedman, 46, is vice president, Mobile Platforms Group, and director of Microprocessor Design. He is responsible for teams in Santa Clara and Folsom, Calif., Costa Rica, and Israel that design Intel's processors for notebook computers. Friedman joined Intel in 1984.

Jeffery L. Hoogenboom, 39, is vice president, Sales and Marketing Group, and director of Global Accounts -- IBM and Lenovo. He is responsible for all aspects of Intel's relationship with IBM and Lenovo. Hoogenboom joined Intel in 1988.

Jonathan Khazam, 42, is vice president, Software and Solutions Group, and general manager of Intel Software Development Products. He is responsible for the development and commercialization of Intel's software development tools including compilers, performance analysis tools and performance libraries. Khazam joined Intel in 1991.

Michael C. Mayberry, 47, is vice president, Technology and Manufacturing Group, and director of Sort Test Technology Development. He is responsible for developing and delivering the manufacturing test processes that are used in Intel's factories. Mayberry joined Intel in 1984.

Suzan A. Miller, 40, is vice president, Legal and Government Affairs, and assistant general counsel. She is responsible for legal support for Intel's product and technology business units. Miller joined Intel in 1991.

Nimish H. Modi, 42, is vice president, Enterprise Platforms Group, and general manager of the Enterprise Microprocessor Division. He is jointly responsible for the architecture definition and development of the Intel(R) Xeon(TM) and Itanium(R) processor families. Modi joined Intel in 1988.

Thomas A. Rampone, 42, is vice president, Desktop Platforms Group, and general manager of the Platform Architecture and Solutions Division. He co-manages development of Intel's desktop platforms and motherboard products and related industry and technology initiatives. Rampone joined Intel in 1984.

D. Jeffrey Richardson, 39, is vice president, Enterprise Platforms Group, and general manager of the Enterprise Platforms and Services Division. He is responsible for the development, marketing and support of Intel's platform-level products for servers and workstations. Richardson joined Intel in 1992.

Arthur W. Roehm, 45, is vice president, Sales and Marketing Group, and director of Global Accounts -- Dell. He is responsible for all aspects of Intel's relationship with Dell. Roehm joined Intel in 1988.

Rama K. Shukla, 51, is vice president, Mobile Platforms Group, and director of Mobile Platform Architecture and Development. He is responsible for developing platforms based on Intel's mobile processors and supporting the design and deployment of these platforms by Intel customers. Shukla joined Intel in 1979.

Joshua M. Walden, 44, is vice president, Technology and Manufacturing Group, and plant manager for Fab 24. He is responsible for all operations at Intel's 300mm wafer fabrication facility in Leixlip, Ireland. Walden joined Intel in 1983.

Abel Weinrib, 47, is vice president, Corporate Technology Group, and director of the Communications Technology Lab. He is responsible for driving Intel's communications and networking technology leadership, including next generation wired and wireless technologies and standards, and silicon innovation for radio and optical communications. Weinrib joined Intel in 1994.

Kazumasa Yoshida, 46, is vice president, Sales and Marketing Group, and co-president of Intel K.K. (Japan). He is responsible for Intel's sales and marketing business operations in Japan. Yoshida joined Intel in 1984.
