Tensilica Presents "Everything You Wanted to Know About Video Processing."

—(BUSINESS WIRE)—October 21, 2008— Tensilica, Inc.:

What:

Tensilica, Inc. will present a live webcast, "Everything You Wanted to Know About Video Processing," highlighting the importance of product differentiation through video-enhancing features. While digital video-compression codecs are at the heart of the video revival as a hot consumer-product category, these codecs are now standardized for HD (high-definition) video products and do not offer much room for product differentiation. Video pre- and post-processing algorithms (performed before video encoding and after video decoding) are the tools needed to make HD video offerings stand out in a crowded market.

Who:

The presenter for the October 23rd broadcast will be Steve Leibson, technology evangelist, Tensilica, Inc.

When:

The live webcast will take place on Thursday, October 23rd at 11:00 a.m. PT / 2:00 p.m. ET. Afterwards, it will be available on demand from the EDN archives.

Where:

To attend the webcast, participants can register by going to http://www.tensilica.com/news_events/events.htm
