PORTLAND, Ore.—(BUSINESS WIRE)—June 4, 2008— Lynguent®, Inc. is accelerating the pace of analog mixed-signal (AMS) design by delivering a comprehensive suite of graphical modeling solutions, enabling engineers to create, improve, and maintain AMS designs 10x faster than with traditional text-based HDL (hardware description language) methods. We are putting the Re back into re-use with a consistent methodology for AMS model development. Our technologies revolutionize the way design teams collaborate across multi-tier supply chains using executable specifications, self-documenting models, and single model source files that export to industry standard HDLs for multiple design environments.

ModLyng, Lynguent's integrated modeling environment, transforms the way HDL-based simulation models are created, managed, and supported for analog, digital, and mixed-signal systems. Using ModLyng's graphical modeling technology, modeling tasks can be completed in a fraction of the time required for traditional text-based methods. Two independent university studies demonstrated that ModLyng reduces, by at least a factor of 10, the time and cost required to create and support simulation models.
