The new technical HP Workstations c3750 and j6750 are available with the powerful PA-8700+ processor running HP-UX. These new systems are designed to deliver compute and visualization performance with the stability and reliability demanded by traditional UNIX® users.

HP also is planning to support the Intel Pentium 4 processor at 3.06-GHz in the future.
The HP Workstation xw4000 is designed for entry-level 2D and 3D MCAD, 2D animation, video editing and publishing users seeking a value-priced system that also delivers optimized performance and reliability with OpenGL graphics and application certifications.
The HP Workstation xw5000 incorporates Intel's latest chipset, the Intel E7205. The new chipset helps create a premier single-processor system offering higher performance dual-channel DDR memory architecture for 2D solids modeling, 2D and 3D animation and video editing.
The mid-range HP Workstation xw6000 and high-end HP Workstation xw8000 incorporate the latest Intel Xeon dual-processor chipset, the Intel E7505 supporting dual-channel DDR memory architecture. These systems offer up to two Intel Xeon processors with a choice of 2.4-GHz, 2.66-GHz or 2.8-GHz frequencies.
The HP Workstation xw6000 is designed to fit more compute power into confined workspaces for customers involved in financial trading and analysis, 3D solids modeling, animation and GIS. The HP Workstation xw8000 provides DCC and MCAD/CAE power users with the high performance and expandability required for rendering, analyzing and simulating large data sets.
