Opening of a subsidiary in Montreal
Montreal indeed is an acknowledged site for training quality engineers and in sufficient numbers, so that the new team gathers years of experience in development of complex mixed signal circuits, logic-analog Systems-on-Chip. Its mission is to be the best provider of power-supply controllers, with innovation in the domain of Direct Current Converters, to adapt them to the new needs of Nanoelectronics and of portable applications with very low power consumption.
In a first stage, the DOLPHIN Integration Inc. subsidiary will focus on the contribution of the power controllers needed by audio digital converters and very high resolution codecs, which earn its fame to the company for multi-media products.
The CIO and Marketing Director, Jean-François Pollet, comments as follows:
"The creation of our subsidiary in Montreal, dedicated to Virtual Components for the control of power-supplies for Integrated Circuits, is the best answer we could offer to the numerous requests from our customers. It fits within a strategy to extend our offering towards key subsets of Systems-on-Chip, at once enabling a minimal power consumption, but also the guarantee of performance of analog functions after their integration.
Our subsidiary shall benefit from the experience of a local team of experienced designers, as well as of the know-hows of the French mother company for putting on the market products innovating with quality for an increased competitiveness of our customers' products."
This operation enables the Dolphin Group to secure its growth plan on a strategic segment.
