Accellera Announces Call for Nominations for Its Technical Excellence Award Honoring Contributions to Its Design Automation Standards Efforts

Nominations are due June 9, 2006

Who/What
Accellera, the Electronic Design Automation (EDA) organization focused on language-based design standards, invites the electronic design community to nominate an individual for its 3rd annual Technical Excellence Award. Accellera’s Technical Excellence Award recognizes an outstanding individual who has helped create electronic design standards that benefit the EDA industry.

When/Where
Nominations are due June 9, 2006. Please visit www.accellera.org to nominate an individual. The Award will be presented during Accellera’s open meeting at the Design Automation Conference (DAC) in San Francisco.

About the Award and Accellera's Technical Subcommittees
Accellera's Technical Excellence Award recognizes the outstanding achievements of its technical committee members. Accellera will select a single contributor to the Accellera standards development process as its 2006 recipient. All Accellera Technical Subcommittee members are eligible for the award. Accellera's Technical Subcommittees include Formal Verification, Interface, Open Compression Interface (OCI), Open Verification Library (OVL), Property Specification Language (PSL), System Verilog, Verilog AMS and VHDL. Accellera's Technical Subcommittees produce effective and efficient standards for today's advanced semiconductor designs. Participation comes from Accellera member companies, industry contributors and independents.
