ZFOUNDRY Collaborates with Cadence to Reduce Time-to-Market with Process Design Kits for Analog and Mixed-Signal ICs

DRESDEN, Germany—(BUSINESS WIRE)—March 7, 2005— ZFOUNDRY(R) today announced a collaborative agreement with Cadence Design Systems, Inc. (NYSE:CDN) (Nasdaq:CDN) which will enable ZFOUNDRY to deliver process design kits (PDKs) targeting analog and mixed-signal integrated circuits (ICs). The PDKs integrate ZFOUNDRY's ZMD Advanced CMOS (ZACMOS) mixed-signal processes with the Cadence(R) Virtuoso(R) custom design platform to enable an accelerated path from design to volume production for customers.

The alliance will also provide opportunities for new customers who use Cadence's Virtuoso platform to tape-out designs to ZFOUNDRY.
