Accellera adds DVCon China in 2017

Elk Grove, Calif., USA - August 9, 2016 - Accellera Systems Initiative (Accellera), the electronics industry organization focused on the creation and adoption of electronic design automation (EDA) and intellectual property (IP) standards, has added DVCon China in 2017 to its DVCon family of conferences and exhibitions.

With tremendous improvements in the IC industry in China in recent years, the timing is ideal to bring DVCon to Shanghai.  The networking opportunities among peers and university students, as well as access to the vendors of advanced design and verification tools and services, is the hallmark of DVCon, and now China will benefit with the latest addition to the DVCon brand.

What/When/Where

DVCon China will premier as a 1-day event on April 19, 2017 at the Parkyard Hotel Shanghai.

The conference has issued a  Call for Abstracts with a deadline of November 1, 2016 and  Call for Tutorials with a deadline of December 1, 2016.

Conference Highlights

In order to boost the interest, use and development of electronic design automation (EDA) and intellectual property (IP) standards in China, DVCon China will provide a highly technical program that invites industry experts to learn and share best practices on:

  • The application of system-level design and verification languages such as SystemC, SystemVerilog and e
  • The use of SystemVerilog Assertions (SVA) or the Property Specification Language (PSL)
  • Verification methodologies based on the Universal Verification Methodology (UVM)
  • IP reuse, automation and integration standards based on IP-XACT
  • Low power design and verification using the Unified Power Format (UPF)

General topic areas on Electronic System Level (ESL), Verification & Validation, Analog/Mixed-Signal, IP reuse, Design Automation, and Low Power design and verification, will be highlighted in tutorials, papers, and poster sessions.

About DVCon
