SiTune Corporation signs strategic license agreement with major semiconductor company serving STB and TV markets

May 30, 2013 --  Silicon Valley (San Jose), California -- SiTune Corporation, a leader in CMOS radio-frequency (RF), mixed signal and signal processing solutions for broadcasting, cable, and satellite television announced a non-exclusive worldwide licensing agreement with one of the major TV media process companies in the U.S. By this agreement, SiTune gave the rights to its partner to integrate its advance and state-of-the-art low power and low cost TV tuner for terrestrial, satellite and cable applications in this partner’s future products. SiTune Tuner IPs can support all digital/analog TV standards with lowest power consumption and superior performance for sensitivity, adjacent channel, and rough cable signal conditions like tilt.

‘’We are proud of this agreement and we strongly believe that we have opened a completely new front for our
partner to enter exciting new markets relying on field-proven, low power, and high performance tuner technology from SiTune,” said Vahid Toosi, President and Chief Executive Officer of SiTune corporation. “By integrating SiTune world-class innovative CMOS TV tuner for satellite, cable, and terrestrial applications, the risk of integration is minimized and time to revenue is accelerated.”
