Zocalo Tech Demonstrates Stress-Free Assertion-Based Verification at Synopsys Users Group (SNUG) Designer Community Expo

Monday, March 28, 2011, Santa Clara Convention Center, California

Who

At the Synopsys Users Group (SNUG®) Designer Community Expo (DCE), Zocalo Tech, Inc., an Electronic Design Automation (EDA) company focused on Assertion-Based Verification (ABV) productivity software, will show Zazz™ alongside the world’s leading EDA verification companies.

What:

Zazz demonstrations will show how ABV can easily be added to Synopsys users’ design and verification flows to gain productivity, reuse and quality design benefits. With Zazz, designers can visually create assertions of any complexity without learning the System Verilog Assertion (SVA) language, debug assertions independently and outside of the verification environment, and take advantage of assertion placement guidance and assertion management capabilities.

Zazz offers the following for Synopsys users:

  • Zazz Visual SVA for assertion creation targets the Synopsys VCS® functional verification solution.
  • Zazz supports interactive assertion debug using its Visual SVA and the Synopsys Discovery™ Visualization Environment (DVE).
  • Zazz assertion management supports the Verification Methodology Manual (VMM) and Accellera’s Universal Verification Methodology ( UVM™) industry standard.
