X-FAB Silicon Foundries to Host Free Lunch & Learn Technical Seminar, Oct. 12 & 14

IRVINE, Calif. & SANTA CLARA, Calif. — (BUSINESS WIRE) — October 5, 2010X-FAB Silicon Foundries, known for its expertise in “More than Moore” technologies from advanced CMOS & BiCMOS to specialty processes such as SOI, MEMS and BCD, will present a “Lunch & Learn” technical seminar, “Sense, Process, Actuate,” here on Oct. 12 and 14, 2010, respectively. The free, four-hour seminar covers how X-FAB addresses:

  • Increased use of MEMS sensors in electronic applications to sense the world around us;
  • The need for signal-conditioning technologies to handle sensor output signals such as AC or DC voltage or current, electric charge and frequency information;
  • The need for technologies to integrate actuators in silicon or provide integrated actuator drivers; and
  • The need for efficient power-management solutions.

Presentation details are available on the website and interested parties can register here.
