TiaLinx, Inc. Announces Launch of the Eagle5-N, Precision Biorhythmic Sensor for Standoff Breathing Detection and Extended Movement Tracking Behind a Wall

NEWPORT BEACH, Calif., July 1 — (PRNewswire) — TiaLinx, Inc., a developer of mm-wave integrated radio and antenna arrays, today announced the launch of the Eagle5-N, a small form factor standoff breathing detector sensor.

"The lightweight, ultra-wideband (UWB), multi-Gigahertz RF imager is capable of detecting the breathing patterns of an individual in a queue and uplink the data remotely to a monitoring station. The Eagle5-N outperforms present Ground Penetrating Radar technologies by using a very small amount of transmitted signals over a large frequency bandwidth. The system can also present position and trace reflections of as small as a few millimeters of movement at a standoff behind a premise," commented Dr. Fred Mohamadi, Founder and CEO of TiaLinx. "A cluster of these sensors can monitor a queue remotely for extended periods of time. The sensors are deployed to monitor breathing patterns wirelessly; hence, it is a great asset for rescue mission authorities, law enforcement agencies, the construction industry and the medical community."

The enhanced small-footprint device is also robot and tripod mountable, and can be deployed to address mapping the layout of a premise from the outside, including the detection of tunnels, standoff surveillance of desired premises for motion tracking, and scanning for detection of implanted metallic objects. In addition to a multitude of applications in various areas of conflict, the system is suitable to prevent illegal human trafficking and surveillance of illegal activities in underground cavities, and detection of live bodies under the rubble after an earthquake.
