Trident Microsystems Adopts Mentor Graphics Veloce Hardware Emulator to Accelerate Time-to-Market for Their Next-Generation Digital TV SoCs

    WILSONVILLE, Ore. — (BUSINESS WIRE) — October 26, 2009 — Mentor Graphics Corp. (NASDAQ: MENT), the leader in advanced system verification solutions, today announced that Trident Microsystems, a leader in high-performance semiconductor system solutions for the multimedia and digital television markets, has adopted Mentor’s Veloce® platform for the complete system-level verification of its next-generation digital TV SoC chips. Trident chose the Veloce platform due to its superior compiler and debug technologies, performance, accuracy, and innovative portfolio of iSolvevertical market solutions for the verification of their multimedia-based designs.
