Forte to Validate High-Level Synthesis Leadership at DAC

SAN JOSE, Calif. — (BUSINESS WIRE) — July 15, 2009 Forte Design Systems will showcase its SystemC high-level synthesis software for hardware and electronic system level (ESL) design in Booth #1225 at the 46th Design Automation Conference (DAC) July 27-30 at the Moscone Center in San Francisco.

Individual Cynthesizer™ demonstrations will prove that it is the only high-level synthesis software that supports complex control and datapath designs with fully accurate modeling capabilities with SystemC, integrated verification utilizing the same testbench, and is silicon proven in more than 100 taped-out designs.

Also in the Forte Booth #1225, a tutorial titled, “An Introduction to Behavioral Synthesis with Cynthesizer,” will give engineers and engineering managers more detailed technical information on high-level synthesis. A session for university students interested in learning about SystemC and ESL will be offered by Forte’s technical experts and managers.
