Altera Selects Lorentz Solution PeakView EM Tool Suite for High-Speed Designs

MILPITAS, Calif. — (BUSINESS WIRE) — April 10, 2009 Lorentz Solution, Inc., a developer of high-frequency integrated circuit (IC)-focused electromagnetic (EM) design and verification software, today announced that its flagship product PeakView™ EM simulation tool suite has been adopted by the Altera Corporation (NasdaqGS: ALTR) technology research and development (R&D) team for use in developing its next generation products. Altera provides the industry’s broadest portfolio of FPGAs with industry-leading density, performance, power and embedded transceiver capabilities to meet customers’ design specifications. PeakView’s integrated solution helps Altera to establish an electromagnetic design and verification flow to accelerate the design of complex EM structures on advanced process nodes.
