Extreme DA GoldTime Delivers First-Pass Silicon Success for Coherent Logix

SANTA CLARA, Calif.—(BUSINESS WIRE)—June 2, 2008— Extreme DA customer Coherent Logix achieved first-pass silicon success for the hx2100, the latest in its line of HyperX-based digital signal processors (DSPs). Coherent Logix used Extreme DA GoldTime exclusively for full-chip timing analysis of its design before manufacture. Failed silicon means a significant penalty in development time and non-recurring engineering costs as designs must be re-worked to achieve silicon success. Performing an accurate and complete timing analysis is now required in IC design to ensure that designs will produce working chips.
