TrueTest Technology Purchases Inovys Ocelot ZFP for Advanced SoC Applications

PLEASANTON, Calif.—(BUSINESS WIRE)—June 28, 2005— Inovys Corporation, the leader in the convergence of semiconductor design and test, today announced that TrueTest Technology, a leading test subcontractor in Hsin-Chu, Taiwan, has purchased the Inovys Ocelot ZFP for high-volume wafer sort testing of advanced SoCs. The Ocelot ZFP provides TrueTest the ability to offer their customers the latest test technology at the lowest cost for their customer's increasingly complex devices.

"The Ocelot ZFP represents a new level of value for our wafer sort testing operations," said Conrad Lin, general manager, TrueTest Technology. "As our customers move their designs into the nanometer processes, gate counts -- and thus vector memory requirements -- are rapidly increasing. The Ocelot ZFP's unique capabilities for sophisticated DFT testing, coupled with large vector and capture memories, make it the ideal system for testing complex logic. Additionally, the extremely low cost-of-ownership makes the Ocelot ZFP a highly cost-effective choice for wafer probe."

Configured as a true "Zero Foot Print" system, the Ocelot ZFP delivers maximum efficiency on the wafer probe test floor. Requiring only a 100-240VAC 50/60HZ power source and a USB connection to a PC controller, the system delivers extremely high reliability and low cost to maximize operational ROI. With vector pattern memories available for up to 64M of functional vectors per-pin, or up to 4G per scan chain, the Ocelot ZFP is unparalleled as a low-cost solution for high gate count SoCs. Based on the Inovys industry-leading Stylus(TM) operating system, the ZFP provides the most seamless bi-directional links to EDA tools available today.

"We are extremely pleased that TrueTest has selected the Ocelot ZFP to address their customer's needs," said Colin Ritchie, vice president of marketing, Inovys Corporation. "As fabless companies move their designs to 130nm, 90nm and beyond, they look to innovative companies such as Inovys and TrueTest to provide them with cost-effective solutions to help manage their new test challenges."
