Application Note Highlights In-Situ Measurement Feature in NI AWR Software for 5G and MIMO Design

EL SEGUNDO, Calif. – June 15, 2016  -- A new application note illustrates how the new in-situ measurement feature in NI AWR Design Environment™, specifically Microwave Office circuit and AXIEM planar EM design software, thus automatically accounting for the coupling between the circuit and the antenna in an easy-to-use framework. The application note details two phased-array examples in which the antennas are simulated in AXIEM 3D planar EM and Analyst™ 3D finite-element method (FEM) EM simulators respectively.
