This release also introduces one-time password (OTP) support, allowing customers the flexibility to secure access to networks using PIV or OTP-based credentials in a single FIPS 140-2 Validated™ authentication device.
IDPrime PIV Card v2.0 supports all the optional and mandatory specifications of the NIST Special Publication (SP) 800-73-3 required by the PIV standard, including key history, iris image, and off-card credential mechanisms.
