Altera Presents Design Methodologies at DSP Forum

SAN JOSE, Calif., April 23, 2012 — (PRNewswire) — Altera Corporation (NASDAQ: ALTR) today announced its " DSP Forum" in North America, presented jointly by representatives from Altera and Arrow Electronics, as well as contributions from MathWorks.  Forum attendees will learn from the leaders in digital signal processing (DSP) about application-specific DSP design methodologies that target Altera FPGAs.  Experts from the military, wireless, and industrial spaces will discuss how the Model-Based Design flow supported by Altera's DSP Builder, together with MATLAB, Simulink, and HDL Coder from MathWorks, can help customers implement high-performance floating-point DSP algorithms.  Additionally, customers interested in video applications will learn about Altera's EDN Innovation Award winning video design framework including video IP solutions.
