Parade Technologies Announces IPO

Silicon Valley-based Chip Company Publicly Traded on Taiwan Stock Market

SAN JOSE, Calif. — (BUSINESS WIRE) — September 13, 2011Parade Technologies, Ltd. ( http://www.paradetech.com), a leading supplier of mixed-signal ICs for a variety of popular display and high-speed interface standards, announced that public trading of its shares will begin today as a result of the company’s initial public offering ( IPO). The fabless semiconductor company is being publicly listed on Taiwan’s GreTai Securities Market (GTSM) (stock code: 4966). Parade’s portfolio of IC products serves the growing demand for HDMI™, DisplayPort™, SATA, and USB ICs used in computers, consumer electronics and display panels.

Founded in 2005, Parade received venture capital from strategic investors, including Intel Capital, UMC, Asia Vest Partners and Legend Capital. The company’s IPO was led by underwriter Mega Securities Co., Ltd. in Taiwan.
