Apache Design - August 2011: Acquisition by ANSYS

Apache Acquisition by ANSYS

A Message from Andrew Yang, President, Apache Design, Inc.

Recently the acquisition of Apache by ANSYS was finalized, launching us into an exciting new chapter. Apache Design, Inc. is now a wholly-owned subsidiary of ANSYS, Inc. As a subsidiary, Apache will continue to operate as a standalone entity providing you with our industry leading power solutions for low-power, cost-effective, and noise-immune designs. You will also have uninterrupted access to all of our key personnel.

Over the past decade, Apache led innovation for IC power, noise, and reliability solutions with a vision towards system-centric product offerings. The merger with ANSYS accelerates Apache’s vision, combining leading IC power analysis and optimization solutions with a broad portfolio of multi-physics simulation solutions.

Semiconductor is an integral part of system realization and as a combined entity, we will deliver innovative solutions for chip-aware system-level simulation to a broad spectrum of industries including aerospace and defense, robotics, industrial, consumer, and energy. Creating innovative products is consistent with our joint strategy and vision, providing customers with the most comprehensive engineering simulation software offering in the electronics industry.
