Celebrating 23 Years of Service to the IC Design Industry
AUSTIN, Texas — (BUSINESS WIRE) — May 24, 2011 — Silicon Integration Initiative (Si2) today announced the Annual Si2 Open Reception to be held on June 6, from 4:30 p.m.-6:00 p.m., at the San Diego Convention Center, Room 29AB, in conjunction with the Design Automation Conference. The Reception is free, and open to all who are interested in Si2 activities such as OpenAccess, DFM, low-power design, OpenPDKs, and 3D ICs. In celebration of over 23 years of service to the IC design industry, refreshments and light hors d’oeuvres will be served.
The newest Si2 Board of Directors member, Philippe Magarshack, Group Vice-President - Central R&D, STMicroelectronics, will be introduced and present a talk on “The Value of Open Standards for Systems-on-Chips in 28nm and below.” Steve Schulz, President & CEO of Si2, will present an outline of Si2's activities and accomplishments of the past year and directions for the year ahead.
