  • April 14, 2011 – Westford, MA, USA – Zuken today announced that Alignex has joined its North American network of  E³.WireWorks resellers.  Headquartered in Edina, MN, Alignex provides engineering solutions, services and consulting for manufacturers, architects, construction and engineering firms.  They offer software sales, installation, training and support throughout the upper Midwest including Minnesota, Iowa, North Dakota, South Dakota and western portions of Wisconsin and Illinois.

More and more often, today’s products have both mechanical and electrical content.  This creates a need for increased collaboration between electrical, fluid and mechanical design teams. Offering customers the ability to use E³.WireWorks in conjunction with SolidWorks allows mechanical, electrical, and fluid designers to work more closely together for better collaboration with fewer design errors, rework, and warranty issues while enabling companies to speed up the design process. E³.WireWorks’ easy out of the box integration with SolidWorks Premium Routing and SolidWorks Enterprise PDM makes it a perfect complement to offer customers to maximize their SolidWorks investment.

"Alignex is pleased to partner with Zuken to offer our customers world-class electrical and electronic engineering design tools.  Successful companies surround themselves with successful business partners.  The addition of E³.WireWorks addresses an increasing demand by our customers as they look to Alignex for additional ways to streamline product development," commented Steve Keinath, president of Alignex, Inc.
"We are pleased to welcome Alignex to the Zuken family of resellers," said Tony Cadwell, worldwide reseller manager for Zuken’s European and American operations. "The experience and knowledge of the Alignex staff is what truly sets them apart. Adding E³.WireWorks to their portfolio will now enable Alignex to offer a full solution to their customers, enhancing their commitment to understand, apply and deliver."
