MunEDA Announces Latest Integration of its WiCkeD™ Tool Suite with Synopsys Environments; First Showing at 2011 SNUG San Jose Designer Community Expo

Enables Designers to Exploit MunEDA’s Advanced Circuit Analysis within Synopsys’ HSPICE®, CustomSim™ and Galaxy Custom Designer® Design and Simulation Environments

SUNNYVALE, Calif. — (BUSINESS WIRE) — March 25, 2011MunEDA, developer of a comprehensive range of advanced circuit analysis solutions, today announced the latest integration of its WiCkeD tool suite with Synopsys’ industry-leading design and simulation solutions – Synopsys’ HSPICE, CustomSim and Galaxy Custom Designer. The company will showcase the new integration at the 2011 Synopsys Users Group (SNUG®) San Jose Designer Community Expo (DCE) for Synopsys customers on Monday, March 28, 2011, from 4:30-7:30 p.m. at the Santa Clara Convention Center in Santa Clara, Calif.

WiCkeD fully supports Synopsys HSPICE and CustomSim circuit simulators integrated within the Synopsys Custom Designer environment and also supports them within stand-alone netlist and third-party design environments. In addition, Synopsys Custom WaveView can be launched from within WiCkeD during circuit sizing. WiCkeD is fully compatible with the HSPICE and CustomSim for Design-for-Yield process and Interconnect Variation Analysis.
