ASYGN announces the release of Tactyle 2.0
Asygn is pleased to announce the immediate availability of Tactyle 2.0, a major revision of its successful, analog system level time-domain simulator. Plugging into standard analog design environments, Tactyle 2.0 addresses some of the most difficult verification issues in today’s analog designs: circuits too large for SPICE; widely spaced time constants; high selectivity; complex, mixed-signal situations; massively repeated subcircuits (for imaging and memories, for example). This release contains the following major enhancements:
Tactyle 2.0 is a key component in Asygn’s verification offering, which includes the Fasyle frequency-domain simulator, associated libraries, example databases, and complementary consulting services. About AsygnAsygn specialises in difficult analog/mixed-signal and RF designs, providing specification and verification solutions in the form of tools and consulting. It has developed new algorithms and tools that enable previously impractical circuit simulations. For example, the company’s simulators can deal with very large A/MS or RF systems, and with very high-Q circuits (found in MEMs-based resonant sensors, for example). It also has solutions for the huge simulation runtimes caused by signals with extremely different time constants, and for systems with repeated analog content (such as image matrices). It has recenty demonstrated a novel simulator that performs the full simulation of a 1M pixel matrix in less than 10 minutes. Asygn software products have been proven to dramatically accelerate simulations on complex analog systems such as mobile phone radios, advanced MEMs sensors and complex imaging arrays. The products integrate seamlessly into standard IC design flows, ensuring design database consistency from system-level down to circuit implementation. Asygn also has an extensive track record of successful consulting projects, including custom tool development – a very interesting solution for companies with special challenges.
